Picture perfect

I have photos everywhere, on my phone, camera, computers and lots more “archived” on an external hard drive somewhere, I just don’t print them like I used to.

In the days PDC (pre digital camera) I took great pleasure in handing over my camera film, waiting anxiously for the photos to come back then excitedly leafing through them (being careful not to put fingerprints all over them obviously). These days of course, we just don’t need to print photos to see them.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for technology and its conveniences but I do miss leafing through a photo album, pressing the right arrow on the keyboard just isn’t quite the same is it?

So I’ve made a promise to myself to start printing photos again *and* displaying them.
I’ve got the wall space, now I just need to work out how best to show off my expert photography (ahem)…

The uniform look. Same coloured frames in various sizes positioned very precisely – my favourite look so far.

Wonderfully lined up but not quite symmetrical – liking it a lot.

A full on gallery wall with frames similar in colour and size. Your journeys on the stairs will never be dull again.

Don’t fancy making lots of holes in your wall? Hang your photos from a curtain rail.

Swap, rearrange and edit your photos any time you like. Putting them on a shelf looks great in any room and the more varied the size of the frames the better.

You don’t always need frames to achieve a perfect look, arrange the photos into your desired shape to create your masterpiece.

Which is your favourite?

I still can’t decide, so I’m off to buy some frames…
