The August Break 2013

Here we are, firmly in my favourite month of the year!

August is great – it’s my birthday in a few days (though I celebrate for the whole month – party animal Leos eh…) and for most people of course it means summer holidays – woohoooo!!

If you read lots of blogs, or follow bloggers on Twitter, then you’ve probably also noticed that most take a blogging break for some or all of August and I’ve decided to do the same.

I do love this lil blog of mine, but as with most things in life – a break is necessary sometimes. Fear not though, this doesn’t mean there will be complete radio silence from me, ah no. I’m taking part in The August Break 2013 initiated by Susannah Conway over on her blog. The idea is to take a photo a day and share it on your blog, Flickr, Twitter, Instagram – wherever you want to.

Yes today is the 5th but there are 26 more days left to play so join in! Liking the idea, but not sure what you’d photograph every day? Worry not, if you get stuck for inspiration, there is a great list of daily prompts to help you out – and you don’t have to have a blog to take part.

I’ll be sharing some images here, but mostly on Instagram, so come find me if you want to see how my days of summer are playing out, and if you decide to join in, let me know who you are so I can follow you too.

I hope the weather keeps cooperating for us, but even if it doesn’t have a fab August break y’all!
